Boarding Charges
- £11 for one cat
- £19 for 2 sharing from the same family
- £23 for 3 sharing from the same family
- £28 for 4 sharing from the same family
This includes drop off day and collection day.
Prices also include treats (if allowed), bedding, bowls, toys and individual heating or cooling fans when required.
Only cats from the same household may share. Payments for boarding fees are to be made at the time of collection. Long term boarding fees must be paid in advance (over 2 weeks stay). We require a 50% non-refundable booking fee before stays longer than 14 days and for over the Easter/ Christmas/New Year periods.
Payment is by cash or card at the end of the stay. We may take a 50% non-returnable booking deposit before stays longer than 14 days and over the Christmas/New Year period.
We may charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking total if cancelled within 2 weeks of the start date and will charge the full booking charge for cancellations made within a week of the first day of the booking and for all Christmas week and New Year bookings due to high demand.
All money owed must be paid in full before taking your cat/animal home. The full booking fee will be charged even if you pick your cats up earlier than originally planned.

We provide the following foods:- WET FOOD: Felix, Felix As Good As It Looks, Felix Senior, Whiskas, Whiskas Senior, Gourmet and Kitten foods from these brands
- DRIED FOOD: Go Cat, Whiskas, Purina and IAMS
- Prices also include treats (if allowed), bedding, bowls, toys and individual heating or cooling fans when required
- Bed and bedding
- Cat litter, bowls and toys
- Heating as necessary
- Insurance
- Nail clipping at £8 per cat or £5 for Bunnies and Guinea Pigs
- A collection and delivery service for Portland and Weymouth is available upon request and charged at £5 return for Portland and £10 return for Weymouth
- Prescribed medicines requiring injections will be an extra £1 per animal per day
We do not have a reduction in costs if you provide your own food
Other Chargeable Services
At Netherfield Cattery and Pet Boarding, your pet will receive all the love, comfort and attention they have in their own home. We are committed to providing a high quality service with customer and pet satisfaction.
As well as cats, we are happy to look after your bunnies, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, rats, mice, gerbils, goldfish, tortoises and any other small pets, but not dogs.
All of the boarding cages are housed inside the specially adapted ‘boarding hut’ and all other small animals in the comfort of our own home.
During the daytime in spring and summer, the animals can spend time outside in the runs which we have in a secure holding pen and all other pets can spend supervised time outside their cage if need be. The runs all have a covered hideaway box containing fresh hay, tunnels or boxes to play in and during wet periods the runs can be completely covered, allowing your animals to still have the freedom of being outside on the grass.
If you are considering booking, you are very welcome to visit us by prior appointment only. We will be happy to show you around so you can see that your pet will be well cared for while you are away.
• We provide all beds, bedding and food bowls and have special handmade herbal toys to keep your cats stress-free whilst staying with us.
• Owners are more than welcome to bring anything they feel will make their cat more comfortable, all we ask is that all beds and bedding are cleaned thoroughly before their stay to ensure we have no cross contamination, and are labelled with the family name. All cats must be transported to us in a suitable, strong and safe carrier which we are able to hold until collection.
