Terms & Conditions

Cats must be fully vaccinated, and the vaccination certificate should be shown and left when you leave your cat

Cats only share a pen if they are from the same household

A non-returnable booking fee is needed to secure your booking of more than 14 days

Daily rates are charged per day or any part of a day. Therefore, a charge will be made for the day of arrival and departure

The full booking fee will be charged even if you pick your cats up earlier than originally booked

Cats can be dropped off and picked up within our opening times

An extra charge may be made for the administration of medication

High quality, certain wet and dry food is supplied by us unless diet/health management is required, then it will be up to the owner to provide the specialist foods

At Christmas/Bank Holiday times there may be additional charges

If you feel you may be late in picking your cat up on the agreed date, please make sure there are arrangements for someone else to collect, as we may not have the space to accommodate extra days. In any case, we must be contacted asap

A 50% charge of the total amount is always made for cancellations of 2 weeks before the booked start date and a full charge made for cancellations of 1 week and under before the booked start date

Netherfield Cattery, Mr & Mrs Brading, any employee, independent contractor or subsidiary of Netherfield Cattery shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, including any financial or physical loss suffered as a result of any act or omission, unless caused by negligence

Health and Hygiene

Vaccinations – For the protection and welfare of all our guests, ALL cats must be fully vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Feline Influenza. We would also recommend vaccination against Feline Leukaemia

Boosters and a good flea treatment must have been administered no less than 10 days before their arrival

Owners must produce an up-to-date vaccination certificate upon arrival

To safeguard the health of all our boarders we reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health

Any cat showing symptoms of infection or infestation whilst in the care of Netherfield Cattery will be placed in isolation and a veterinary surgeon contacted if necessary

We are unable to accept un-neutered male cats over the age of 8 months or pregnant queens

All our guests will be regularly monitored for their behaviour, appetite and general wellbeing. This can be recorded daily, and a report can be made to the owner on collection of their cat if they so wish

Hygiene

Highest standards of hygiene are maintained to ensure your cat’s comfort, health and safety. Disinfectant hand dispensers are available to ensure staff can easily clean hands

Units are cleaned every day during your cat’s stay, and litter trays are checked, emptied and cleaned frequently throughout the day

After a cat has vacated a unit and before the next occupant arrives, the unit is cleared and all its contents are thoroughly cleaned and redone using a tried and tested procedure

During your cat’s stay everything will be done to make their stay happy and comfortable
